Breast Reduction Before & After Photos

This patient is a 21 year old, full time college student who wanted a New Jersey breast reduction while home during her semester break. She has tried everything to alleviate her physical discomfort caused by her breasts before coming for consultation at my New Jersey plastic surgery facility located in Englewood, NJ, just 10 minutes outside of Manhattan. She tried losing weight, taking medication, chiropractic adjustments and physical therapy. Nothing worked. She was still stricken with upper back, neck and shoulder pain, deep bra strap indentations, headaches and constant moisture beneath her breasts. Her goal was to alleviate her physical symptoms and to obtain more youthful looking breasts. She was embarrassed that her breasts were not only large, but also quite saggy. She is only 5’3” and 130lbs.

My examination confirmed large, heavy, pendulous (sagging) breasts with deep bra strap indentations. Her breasts were very dense. I agreed that smaller, lighter breasts would help alleviate her physical symptoms and agreed to perform breast reduction surgery in New Jersey for her.

I reviewed the concepts and techniques of the surgical procedure, the location and use of an anchor scar pattern in order to lift and reshape the breasts under general anesthesia on an out patient basis. My office staff, familiar with New Jersey plastic surgery and insurance, assisted her in obtaining insurance coverage.

She underwent her breast reduction while on school break recovering quite quickly and easily. She was surprised that there was little discomfort and that she is already feeling relief of her physical symptoms. After removing approximately 630 grams of tissue from each breast, she went from wearing a DD to a C size bra. Now that her breasts are more youthful and perkier, she has the added benefit of wearing strapless dresses for that special occasion or during the summer months!
