Breast Reduction Before & After Photos

Patient is a 32 year-old woman who is accompanied by her husband who complains of heavy, large, pendulous breasts causing her pain in her chest wall, neck, upper back, chronic moisture beneath the breasts and deep, painful bra strap indentations. She is 5’ 9” tall and weighs 200lbs. She is very frustrated as she finds it difficult to keep her weight in check because she can not exercise due to the size of her very large breasts. She finds it difficult to wear stylish clothing or a suitable bathing suit. She is a stay at home mother of two. She chose me for as her New Jersey plastic surgeon for her breast reduction after doing quite a bit of research on the internet.

I reviewed the patient’s findings, symptoms and complaints and recommended a medically necessary, bilateral breast reduction for alleviation of symptoms. I reviewed the concepts and techniques of the surgical procedure using general anesthesia on an out patient basis as well as the location of the surgical scars. My office staff, familiar with New Jersey plastic surgery and insurance, assisted her in obtaining insurance coverage.


Prior to surgery this patient was wearing a DD bra and after removing approximately 600 grams off each breast, she is now able to wear a size C. She had  tears of excitement in her eyes when she came to my office for the first time ecstatic that she was already wearing a button down shirt!

The photos of this patient were taken 9 monthsafter her surgery. She and her husband were surprised at how well the scars healed, and that there was minimal discomfort during the recovery.  They are happy she decided to have her breast reduction in New Jersey.
