This patient is a 41 year-old woman who complains of aging in her face and requests facial rejuvenation in New Jersey. She complains of a tired look and a very weak profile.
Examination reveals brow ptosis with deep vertical and transverse forehead lines. After correction of brow position, the severe hooding of the upper lids is partially improved. There remains significant redundant skin. The lower lids show fat pockets with crepiness of the skin. The chin is weak and there is some redundant skin in the neck and a small collection of fat beneath her chin. The profile is indeed weak as the patient complains.
I reviewed the patient’s findings and complaints and offered her a coronal forehead and brow lift with bilateral upper and lower blepharoplasty as well as chin augmentation with a solid anatomic silicone elastomer implant via the submental approach (beneath the chin) with submental lipoplasty.
On the morning of surgery, she came to my New Jersey plastic surgery facility for her procedure. She met my highly skilled team of O.R. nurses (most of whom she met during her consultation and pre-operative visits) as well as my board certified anesthesiologist. Following her surgical procedure, she recovered with our plastic surgery RN before being discharged for home. She was able to return to work after a week.
Surgeon: Dr. Richard A. D'Amico
