Nose Reshaping Before & After Photos

Patient is a 17 year-old young man who is accompanied by his mom and presents to my office complaining about difficult nasal breathing through the left side of his nose, as well as an external aesthetic deformity. Being referred by another one of my patients, he has chosen me to be his cosmetic surgeon in New Jersey.
My examination of his nose reveals a deviation of the nasal septum at the caudal end at the internal valve to the left with severe restriction on airflow. This is a physical blockage of the internal valve by the deviated septum. His external nose is remarkable for a large dorsal hump and poor tip projection.

I reviewed the patient’s findings and complaints and offered him a cosmetic rhinoplasty (nose reshaping) and correction of his nasal septum to restore breathing function. After having a thorough discussion with his family, he decided to have his procedure in my fully accredited New Jersey plastic surgery facility.

On the morning of surgery, he came to my New Jersey plastic surgery facility for his rhinoplasty (nose reshaping). He met my highly skilled team of O.R. nurses (most of whom he met during his consultation and pre-operative visits) as well as my board certified anesthesiologist. Following his procedure, he recovered with my plastic surgery RN before being discharged for home. The patient did very well after surgery. The following day, he returned to my office to have his packing removed and was able to return to school in just over a week. He and his mother were ecstatic with the natural, refined appearance of his surgery. He is pictured only a few months from surgery so his final result can not be fully appreciated. He can expect continued improvement and refinement over the next several months. (Rhinoplasty can take a year or so for final results due to small amounts of swelling).
