3 months post op
Patient is an 18 year-old girl who is accompanied by her mom. Together with her mom, who is also a patient of mine, they have chose me to be her cosmetic surgeon in New Jersey. This young woman is a college student and dance major, who complains of heavy, pendulous (sagging) breasts with deep bra strap indentations and upper neck and back pain exacerbated by the weight of the breasts. She complains that this not only interferes with her dance activities but she is having difficulty buying clothes, especially bathing suits, as her breasts make her body disproportionate. She comes to my office seeking a New Jersey plastic surgery breast reduction. My physical examination reveals bilateral macromastia with deep bra strap indentations. There is an increased curvature in her upper neck and back. The breasts are clearly too large for this patient’s body. I reviewed the location of the scars, recovery time, as well as time missed from school, dance and social activities. Based on this information, she decided to have breast reduction New Jersey in my fully accredited operating facility during her winter break from college. On the morning of surgery, she came to my New Jersey plastic surgery facility for her breast reduction. She met my highly skilled team of O.R. nurses (most of whom she met during her consultation and pre-operative visits) as well as my board certified anesthesiologist. Following her plastic surgery New Jersey, she recovered with our plastic surgery nurse before being discharged for home with her mother. On her first post-operative visit, she commented on how much better she felt and how little discomfort she experienced. She is quite happy with her result and is having fun buying new clothes!
This patient 21 year old college student is only 5ft tall and weighs 150lbs. She complains of heavy, large, pendulous (hanging) breasts causing her pain in her chest wall, neck, upper back, chronic rashes beneath the breasts and deep, painful bra strap indentations. Being a young woman she is very embarrassed at the size of her breasts explaining that people literally gawk at her appearance. She finds it extremely difficult to buy clothes of any sort especially anything stylish for her age. When she tries to exercise, the weight of her breasts cause her extreme back and neck pain. She chose me as her New Jersey plastic surgeon for her breast reduction having been recommended by one of her friends that I previously operated on. I reviewed the patient’s findings, symptoms and complaints and recommended a medically necessary, bilateral breast reduction for alleviation of symptoms. I reviewed the concepts and techniques of the surgical procedure, the location and use of an anchor scar pattern in order to lift and reshape the breasts under general anesthesia on an out patient basis. My office staff, familiar with New Jersey plastic surgery and insurance, assisted her in obtaining insurance coverage. This patient who went from a size F to a D and is now is like a new young woman. Approximately 1200 grams of tissue were removed from each breast. She commented on how much pain she expected to have and to her delight she never even took a Tylenol. For the first time in years, she has finally put on a bathing suit. Her post-operative photos were taken 9 months after surgery. She has since referred in one of her college friends for New Jersey liposuction!
This patient is a 38 year-old woman who presented to my office complaining of heavy, hanging breasts with bra strap indentations and upper neck and back pain and requested a New Jersey breast reduction. My physical examination of this patient confirmed bilateral macromastia (large breasts) with her left breast being larger and nipple height lower than her right. There are deep grooves in her shoulders from her bra straps. She is 5'5" tall and weighs 120 pounds. Based on this physical examination and the patients complaints; it was decided that she was a candidate for a bilateral breast reduction. The patient had a second lengthy consultation to discuss breast reduction surgery and decided to have her procedure in my fully accredited, cosmetic surgery operating facility as her procedure was not covered by her insurance. She was very excited about having chosen me as her cosmetic surgeon New Jersey. On the morning of surgery she met with my highly skilled operating room staff (most of whom she met during her consultation visits) as well as my board certified anesthesiologist. After recovering for a period of time with my plastic surgery recovery nursing staff, she was discharged for home. She was surprised and how little discomfort she felt after the procedure. Her photos were taken one year post-operatively. She is very happy with her results and expressed that she not only feels better but is able to buy more stylish clothing.
Finding the best New Jersey plastic surgeon to perform her breast reduction surgery to alleviate the physical discomfort for this 41 year old mother of two was a top priority. She came to visit me in my New Jersey plastic surgery facility to discuss breast reduction. She states that she has severe pain in her upper back and neck due to the size of her breasts. She also states that it is difficult for her to exercise because of her breast size as well. She is 5'5" and weighs 190lbs. She is currently wearing a custom size F bra. My examination reveals a mesomorphic woman with large, heavy, pendulous ( hanging) breasts. They are large and heavy. There are deep bra strap indentations and a flattening of the spinal curve. Together we discussed how breast reduction surgery would benefit her bringing her relief from much of her pain and discomfort and allowing her the ability to exercise. Three months after surgery, her scars are still red and healing, but the patient is already thrilled with the result of her breast reduction in New Jersey. Approximately 800 grams of tissue were removed from each breast and she is now able to wear a size C bra.
